is an associate professor of acting in the Department of Theatre Arts at Ithaca College. She has directed and performed professionally on stage and in television in the U.S., Europe, Africa and South America. She is the founder and director of Performing Arts for Social Change (PASC); a program that uses theatre as a venue to give voice to societal issues in the U.S. as well as internationally. Cynthia is the author of The Actor’s Landscape(available on Amazon), a member the National Alliance of Acting Teachers and Actors’ Equity Association. She is also a Fulbright Scholar and the recipient of two additional Fulbright awards.
In addition to her work in film and theatre, Cynthia is also an international Zumba instructor. You can attend her local Zumba classes at Island Health and Fitness and Finger Lakes Fitness Center.
